Privacy Policy

Anonymous Chat • Effective 8 October 2026

Please read every section. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and accept this policy and our Community Rules.

This policy explains how Anonymous Chat, operated through sgmocks.com, collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Android application and related services. We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising.

1. Age requirement

Anonymous Chat is only for people aged 18 or older. Age is self-declared using your date of birth. We may restrict or remove access when the age requirement is not met.

2. Information we collect

We collect your email address, password hash or Google account identifier, anonymous display name, date of birth, gender, matching preference, state, district, selected language, call preference, public user ID, friend requests, blocks, searching presence, recent activity, and a resettable app installation identifier. The identifier is converted to a protected fingerprint for account security history. Other users do not receive your email address, date of birth, password, Google identifier, or device fingerprint.

3. Messages, media, and calls

We store text messages, uploaded photos, audio notes, friendship activity, block history, and call metadata such as participants, status, and timestamps. Call audio is carried inside the app and is not recorded by the current service. Chats are not end-to-end encrypted. Cleaning a chat hides the current conversation from both participants’ screens. It does not erase retained server records used for safety review.

4. How we use information

Information is used to create and secure accounts, operate location and preference-based matching, deliver chats and calls, manage friendships and blocks, translate messages when requested, prevent abuse, provide support, maintain service reliability, and comply with lawful requests.

5. Camera and microphone

Camera access is requested only when you choose to take a photo. Photo access is used only when you choose an existing image. Microphone access is requested only for audio notes or in-app audio calls. You can deny these permissions, though the related feature will not work.

6. Search, matching, and visibility

When you use New Find, your searching status and recent activity make you visible to compatible users. Your anonymous name, public user ID, gender, matching preference, state, and district may be shown for matching. Blocked users and existing friends are excluded from new-match results where applicable.

7. Service providers and disclosure

Google may process information when you use Google Sign-In, and Google STUN infrastructure may assist audio-call connectivity. Message text is sent to a translation provider only when you request translation. Our hosting and infrastructure providers process data to operate the service. We may disclose records when legally required or reasonably necessary to investigate misuse, protect users, or respond to a lawful authority.

8. Administrative access and moderation

Authorized administrators can access account details and retained chat, media, friendship, block, and call records for safety, moderation, support, abuse investigations, and legal compliance. Administrative exports and sensitive actions may be audit-logged.

9. Security

We use HTTPS/WSS encrypted connections, password hashing, authenticated access, restricted media routes, and privacy-safe installation fingerprints for login security history. Device history does not prevent you from signing in on another device. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Keep your password private and do not share identity documents, financial information, or unnecessary personal contact details in chats.

10. Retention and deletion

We retain information for service operation, safety, abuse prevention, dispute handling, and legal-response purposes. You can permanently delete your account inside the app from Profile, or follow the public account-deletion instructions. Some limited records may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or the rights of other users.

11. Your choices

You can turn searching and calls on or off, choose matching filters, clean your local chat view, report, block or unblock users, change your translation language, revoke device permissions, log out, or permanently delete your account from Profile. You may contact us to request access or correction of your personal information.

12. Children

Anonymous Chat is not directed to children and does not permit anyone under 18 to use the service. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us so we can investigate and remove it.

13. Community and child safety

We prohibit harassment, threats, scams, sexual exploitation, grooming, child sexual abuse material, and other illegal or abusive conduct. Anonymous Chat has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. You can report a user from the chat menu. We may restrict or remove accounts, preserve relevant evidence, and report suspected violations to appropriate authorities or child-safety organizations where required by law. Full rules are available in our Community & Child Safety Standards.

14. Policy updates

We may update this policy when the service, law, or our data practices change. The revised date will be shown on this page. Continued use after an update means the revised policy applies.

15. Contact us
